Though in Tamil Nadu tamil new year was celebrated in april every year,the new year which was decided to be celebrated to be with pongal this year 2009 was somewhat different.
Always new year was celebrated with a new tamil movie obviously a superstar movie,but now people celebrated this new year with pongal happily.
Lets welcome this new idea as we are also going with world's trend and keeping with with our culture.
